Privacy Policy

We are committed to respecting privacy and protecting the personal information of employees, volunteers, donors, stakeholders and program beneficiaries. We value the trust of those we deal with and recognize trust requires transparency and accountability in how we treat information we are given. During the course of Foundation work, we do gather and use personal information for communications and outreach. Personal information collected is carefully protected and any use of or other dealing with this information is subject to consent.

What is personal information?

Personal information is any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact a specific individual. Exceptions: business contact information and certain publicly available information, such as names, addresses and telephone numbers as published in telephone directories, are not considered personal information. The information collected is the minimum amount needed to demonstrate and maintain a service, volunteer, participant, donor or program relationship with you.

This includes:

contact and identification information, such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail address, donation information such as date of the gift, amount of gift, the campaign you contributed to, name of spouse or partner if it was a joint gift as well as financial information such as payment methods and preferences, billing and banking information other personal information used for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances.

(e.g. if you have demonstrated an interest in participating in a fundraising event, we may send you information regarding other fundraising programs and services)

How does The RRPC Innovation Foundation use personal information?

Personal information is used for fundraising, to process donations, to respond to requests for services and information and to keep you informed about The RRPC Innovation Foundation activities. We may also use the information you provide to us in the following ways:

To provide donation recipients with summary or aggregate information about our donations, programs and services;

For research purposes; and to develop advertising and outreach targeted to donor preferences.
