The STEP Empowerment Centre provides a welcoming environment offering free individual counselling for youth ages 12-24. We are a not-for-profit community-based agency located in downtown St. Catharines.
Our Purpose
We identified a need in our community to engage youth in a supportive way, fostering trust and bridging gaps while providing a safe space in our community. With passion and purpose we welcome all youth, acknowledging their value, and empowering them to design the life they wish to live.
Step’s Mission
is to create a “Circle of Care” connecting young people with resources, counselling, and a hub to access and navigate what supports are available in our community to live their best lives.
Services
The Step Empowerment Centre offers free for service mental health counselling for youth ages 12-24 in a homelike setting with no limit on the number of sessions you can have, with no wait list and flexible hours.
